Cookie Policy

This policy describes the cookies and similar local-storage technologies HaulGuard uses, under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR.
1. Essential (always on)
These are required for the app to function and do not need consent:
- Supabase authentication cookies — keep you signed in.
- Cookie-consent preference — remembers your choice below.
- Offline check queue (IndexedDB) — lets drivers complete walkaround checks without signal.
2. Non-essential (consent required)
These load only after you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner, and never before:
- PostHog product analytics — understands feature usage to improve the product.
- Sentry Session Replay — records anonymised UI interactions when errors occur, to help us fix bugs.
3. Managing your choice
You can decline non-essential cookies with “Reject non-essential” in the banner. To change your decision later, clear this site’s storage in your browser settings and the banner will reappear. Declining does not affect any core HaulGuard functionality.
